Our Ethos

As a school community, we believe in nurturing children so that they become happy, confident, curious learners, who can drive their learning on through their lives. This ambition is reflected in our school vision, that forms the foundations of our school:

We bring our vision alive every day through the school's ASPIRE values, which are set out below and are displayed and talked about in assemblies, lessons and everyday discussions.

As a school with a growing Specialist Resource Provision (SRP), our approach to learning is that we nurture and inspire all children to enjoy learning and to aim high. All our staff make sure that all our children feel safe and valued, demonstrate kindness and have the skills to take the next steps in their learning when they leave us for Key Stage 3 and secondary education. Our Equity, Equality, Inclusion and Diversity Policy reflects these principles for our school.
