Grammar
The National Curriculum for English sets out the skills required for children to be able to read and write fluently, communicating information and sharing creative ideas. As well as meeting the academic requirements in English, being able to apply grammar skills in speech and written form enables children to develop their thoughts and ideas, and by doing this, they develop their understanding of themselves and the world around them.
